Academic Writer

Academic Writer is a learning platform that supports users who are conducting research and writing papers in APA7. Academic Writer is designed to help you at every stage of the academic writing process. It provides accessible and in-depth answers to questions about how to conduct research, structure and reference papers correctly, and format your writing in line with APA Style rules.

How is the platform organised?

In the Learning Center, you will find a wealth of useful information on various topics related to writing and referencing in APA. Resources include Quick Guides, Tutorials, Sample Papers, Sample References, and more. This is your go-to stop for tips on correct reference formatting, essay formatting, grammar, and style.

In the Reference Center, you can manage all of your references in one place. This includes importing and saving references to your personal library, searching for pre-formatted references through PsycInfo, and seamlessly inserting these references into your paper.

In the Writing Center, you'll find a collection of paper templates from which you can start to write your own essay or paper. This tool pre-formats the main sections of the text for you, and then describes what each section requires from you as the writer. You can insert your references and format your text, and once you're finished, use the checking tool and the Writing Center will identify any formatting, grammar, or style errors you may have missed.
