In 2022 there was a staggering 44,769 views recorded on the MIE community page on TARA, Trinity's Access to Research Archive. Remarkably, a significant portion of this traffic was attributed to student theses and articles from the Student Teacher Educational Research (STER) journal.
This surge in viewership not only underscores the quality and relevance of the research being conducted by and through MIE, but also highlights the library's crucial role in promoting and disseminating academic knowledge to a broader audience. Open access to student research also provides educators with a rich repository of current, diverse, and often cutting-edge material that can be integrated into curriculum and teaching. This integration can lead to more relevant, up-to-date, and engaging course content, enhancing the overall learning experience.
